Twitter Tuesday (5/21)

For this week's Twitter Tuesday assignment, we were tasked on creating an infographic, which is linked here on my Twitter! One of the things I am learning about multimedia writing is that you can find sources by looking at the images you find. More likely than not, the image will link back to the website or article in which it was featured in and I was able to find more sources by doing that method. To find info for my infographic I searched up a general search, climate change and penguins, to get me started. My infographic helps readers analyze the problem by understanding and identifying the many human-driven problems, a big one being climate change. My infographic uses both logos and pathos with the pictures to illicit the viewer to care about the problem's facing penguins, especially since we are the cause of most of their issues and suffering. My favorite multimedia item that I found is this picture showing artificial nests for penguins trying to beat the heat and rising temperatures from global warming. I will use this in my AP as a possible solution to help the penguin population not head to extinction. Although this solution does not apply to all of the issues that penguins are facing, it a step in the right direction.
